The Host Carries the Responsibility
If you throw the party, responsibility for the guests, the premises, and what happens there is yours. That includes checking that a space is suitable and not overcrowded, that exits stay clear, that walkways and lighting are safe, and that anyone with mobility needs can get in and move around. We have no knowledge of your venue and take no responsibility for it.
Venues, Vendors, and Contracts

Read contracts before signing, ask about liability cover, and confirm that a venue permits what you are planning. Some events require a permit, a noise variance, or event insurance — that is between you and your local authority.
Food and Drink Service
Catering for a crowd is different from cooking at home. Ask guests about allergies in advance, label dishes, keep hot food hot and cold food cold, and do not leave perishables standing at room temperature. If you are engaging a caterer, confirm their food-hygiene registration.
Alcohol
Where a party idea involves alcohol, serve it lawfully and sensibly. Do not serve anyone under the legal drinking age or anyone visibly intoxicated, know the licensing rules that apply if you are selling drinks or hosting publicly, offer good non-alcoholic options and food, and make a plan for guests to get home without driving. Hosts can bear legal exposure for over-service in some jurisdictions. Alcohol quantities in any suggestion are illustrative, not a recommendation about how much anyone should drink.
Candles, Flame, and Decor
Candles, sparkler toppers, fire pits, balloons, and dry ice all carry hazards. Never leave a flame unattended or near fabric or hair, keep dry ice out of sealed containers and away from bare skin, and follow the instructions and any age restrictions supplied with a product. Check what your venue actually allows — many prohibit open flame outright.
