Bashjoy is about grown-up milestone birthdays — the 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th and the ones after that. Milestone parties for adults sit in an odd gap: too big to wing, not a wedding, and almost nobody writes practical planning material for them.

The idea

A milestone party should feel considered without turning into a second job or an unplanned four-figure expense. So we plan backwards from a number. Every guide we publish states the budget it assumes, the guest count it is built for, and the timeline it runs on, then works within those instead of pretending cost is somebody else’s problem.
